Sorting parameters include the type of photo (e.g., flagged files), the sorting method (e.g., capture time), and the thumbnail preview size. The main preview screen includes a host of sorting features, and you can see metadata for each photo (including the camera model and lens used). The folder hierarchy can then be adjusted you can create new folders, add subfolders, and do some quick renaming. With Luminar Neo, you can add folders from your Mac storage drive. In our experience with Luminar Neo, we found it isn’t as comprehensive as a program like Lightroom, but the ease of use and minimalistic design make it a great choice for those who are still learning the basics. Skylum also offers Luminar AI, but Neo is the flagship product (and has superior photo-management capabilities). Luminar Neo is the next evolution of Skylum’s main photo editing software and serves as a replacement for Luminar 4.
